We look forward to welcoming you to our Fall Reception which this year will be held online. While we will certainly miss the opportunity to network in person across three back-to-back events over two days in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles as we have been doing over the past 5 years, we can now bring our Canada and U.S. - wide community together for our first virtual networking reception.
We will do our best to replicate our popular networking reception model with an update on the work of the Council since our Spring Receptions, welcoming two special member presentations, followed by some online networking. All that will be missing will be our maple cookies but you are welcome to BYOC!
We are honored to welcome Ms. Chelsea Peet, Consul and Senior Economic Officer at the Ontario Trade and Investment Office in San Francisco, to provide an overview of opportunities for U.S. businesses to trade and invest with Canada’s most populous province. Chelsea and her team are ideally positioned to bridge our Southern California community with key markets in Ontario.
And we are also honored to welcome Mr. Bill Klages, VP Partner and Influencer Relations at Toronto-based software quality assurance company, QA Consultants, to the podium. As North America’s largest QA software testing company, QA Consultants provides a near-shoring solution for U.S. and Canadian businesses that leverages the tremendous tech talent pool within the Greater Toronto market and are ambassadors of the ‘shift left’ movement to integrate quality assurance earlier in the software development cycle.
