MAPLE Business Council is launching a new series of special events focused on cross-border topics. The MAPLE X-Border Leadership Series, MAPLE XBL, will consist of meetings, panel discussions, and receptions hosted by MAPLE and sponsoring organizations featuring leaders from Canada and Southern California addressing topics of interest to cross-border trade and investment. XBL events will complement the quarterly networking events that MAPLE Business Council continues to host across Southern California.
The first event in the new cross-border leadership series will occur on April 7th in Santa Monica. MAPLE and sponsor organizations including, Air Canada, and Waterloo Region Economic Development Corporation, will host mayors from Canada's Silicon Valley, Waterloo Region in Ontario, for a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges of nurturing an innovation-led economy.
