MAPLE Welcomes Terry Romanow, President of Hydrodig, as an Executive Member

Terry Romanow

Together with MAPLE Colorado Executive Director Rob Mancey, we are pleased to announce that Terry Romanow, President of Hydrodig USA and Canada, has joined our community as an Executive Member. And he also has the distinction of being the first member of our new MAPLE Colorado Chapter!

Back in 1998, Hydrodig was a one truck, family-operated hydrovac business. It all began with an uncle and two brothers: Pat, Clayton and Terry. An unique idea that was not the norm in the non-destructive excavation industry, the company faced an uphill battle from the early days. Fast-forward to nearly its 25th anniversary, one partner remains - Terry Romanow. Terry is the current President of Hydrodig and he has spearheaded much of the growth across Canada and the U.S.

The company created a license model to quickly ramp up expansion in the early 2000's and later that decade opened its first U.S. operating entity.

Starting the new decade and running headstrong into relatively uncharted waters, Terry also expanded into Eastern Canada and took on the manufacturing of his specialized equipment in house. Currently the Ottawa Ontario office is the second largest just behind the Denver Colorado location.

Terry, being only 21 years old back in 1998, has steered Hydrodig to become one of North America's leading non-destructive excavation service companies. Terry is married (also since 1998) with three children.

Terry can be reached at operations@hydrodig.com and at:

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Terry.
