“Groups like the MAPLE Business Council are a great example of organizations that are bringing people together across sectors and across our shared border to strengthen the economic relationship between the United States and Canada.”

U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Cohen - June 2023.

Growing Canada - U.S. Economic Ties

Investment | Trade | Entrepreneurship

Not only do our countries share the largest trading relationship in the world but our economic ties are supported by generations of working together as partners & strategic allies and living side-by-side as neighbors & friends.

 We can do more together!

Welcome to MAPLE® Business Council. Since 2015 we’ve been connecting executives and organizations across Canada and from our base in Southern California for bilateral investment, trade and entrepreneurship opportunities.

 In-person and online.

In well over 100 meetings, three delegations to Canada, over a hundred newsletters & videos, and more than 18,000 tweets, we bring businesses together through networking, content, news and storytelling. Setting the table for meaningful conversations to grow north, south and in our backyards.

We’re a cross-sector community.

As a membership organization, our members make our mission possible. They span over 25 business sectors and live and work in over 30 markets across Canada and the United States. Our partnerships with the Canadian Consulate General offices, the U.S. Commercial Service, World Trade Centers, cities and economic development agencies large & small inform and guide our work. MAPLE is on the ground with our own team in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, New York and Denver.

 Our roots run deep.

We are Canadian. We are American. We are executives, investors, entrepreneurs, service providers, academia, government and professionals. Together we are MAPLE.
