MAPLE Launches Ambassador Program
MAPLE Business Council today announced the launch of its MAPLE Ambassador Program. With the goal of increasing the depth of its cross-border network between Southern California and Canada, MAPLE has created a new volunteer-based Ambassador position in the organization.
The role of the Ambassador will be to promote the mission for greater collaboration in investment, trade and entrepreneurship with a specific province or region of Canada. MAPLE is seeking professionals with networks in key Canadian geographies who can help build awareness for the Council and engage executives, entrepreneurs and public institutions in the region in membership and collaboration opportunities. The Ambassador will play a leadership role on behalf of MAPLE in welcoming delegations from their region to Southern California and planning future MAPLE trade missions to Canada. The role will be a voice of the region within the MAPLE community to help increase knowledge of sector strengths, business & economic trends, and key events.
"As we now enter our second year as the Southern California-Canada business community, it is time for us to build on the wonderful foundation we have laid together thanks to the help of our members, sponsors and friends, to accelerate the reach of MAPLE. We want to engage members of our community who share our passion for greater collaboration between Southern California and Canada to increase awareness of our work with their Canadian networks," said MAPLE co-founder and chairman, Robert Kelle. "And we are specifically seeking to add more Canadian-based members to MAPLE in support of our cross-border mandate."
MAPLE Ambassadors will initially be sought for Atlantic Canada, Québec, Ontario, the Prairies and British Columbia.
